Call: Participate in the Emigration Fair March 21-22

Who's participating? Just like in previous years, the SNBN will have a booth at the upcoming Emigration Fair , held at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht (weekend of March 21-22) , to try to answer as many questions as possible from visitors on-site.

Twan Laan and Eelco Keij from the board will be present. We are also looking for other volunteers who would like to join us, even if it's just for a few hours.

Interested or have questions? Let us know at info@snbn.nl !

Opening for board member

SNBN (member of the VVD)

After years of active service on the board, Fieke Slager-van de Ven (VVD) recently announced her intention to leave the board soon. We are incredibly grateful to Fieke for the wonderful collaboration over the past few years — thank you, Fieke!

This also means we're immediately opening a vacancy for a board seat, with active membership in the VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy). Are you active in the VVD and interested in strengthening SNBN? For anyone with questions or interested in applying, please let us know at info@snbn.nl . Applications are open until March 20th.

New Cabinet almost on Bordes

The new (minority) cabinet will be sworn in on February 23rd . Now that the government positions have been allocated and announced , this means that there is now (more or less) clarity within the parliamentary groups regarding the portfolio allocation.

This allows the SNBN to focus on familiar topics, such as dual citizenship, banking, and passport renewal. We'll share any updates in the next newsletter!

Without you, there would be no SNBN:

Help us!

The Foundation for Dutch People Abroad (SNBN) works daily, entirely voluntarily, to promote the interests of Dutch people abroad .

Whether it concerns nationality issues, voting rights, pensions, or other practical and political obstacles, we ensure your voice is heard in The Hague. But we can't do it alone. Our activities depend on the support of stakeholders like you. With your contribution—large or small, one-time or recurring—we can continue to stand up for the rights of Dutch citizens abroad. Every donation makes a difference . Together, we make policy fairer, more understandable, and more accessible for everyone with a Dutch passport, wherever you live in the world.

Thank you for your support!
