The D66 bill, which aims to ensure that every Dutch citizen living outside the Netherlands has the right to a Dutch bank account, will be reviewed in the House of Representatives after receiving an advisory opinion from the Council of State . The initiators have requested our assistance, as the banks appear to be strongly opposing the proposal, and the Council of State appears to be partially agreeing with them.

We've already received many responses from you, but despite this, please write to info@snbn.nl explaining why you want to keep your Dutch bank account and what the consequences (or would be) of losing it are for you. It's important to us to gather as many arguments as possible. We'll share this information anonymously and confidentially with the politicians who are campaigning for the preservation of our Dutch bank accounts. Thank you very much in advance!
