Current Dutch nationality law generally prohibits holding or acquiring another nationality. If you, as a Dutch citizen, wish to acquire another nationality, you must be aware that you could lose your Dutch citizenship. There are a few exceptions where the Dutch government may permit holding two (or more) nationalities. These exceptions apply if you acquired dual nationality after April 1, 2003.
Exceptions
you were born in the country of that other nationality and had your main residence there at the time of acquisition;
before reaching the age of majority, you have had your main residence in the country of that other nationality for an uninterrupted period of at least five years;
you are married or have a registered partnership (recognized by the Netherlands) with a person who has that other nationality.
